ENJOYING THE WINTER WEATHER!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ABRAHAM LINCOLN! 200 YEARS OLD! Visit the Lincoln Bicentennial Site for some interesting facts...and be sure to take the quiz when you are done. Illinois also has their own site celebrating Lincoln.

We recently had to write poems about what we'd do if we were in charge of the whole world! They are funny!

Learn about the money in your pocket...and your piggybank! See the U.S. Mint website for kids. My favorite is the memory game.

I am including a link to a website designed by one of the Educational Computing Strategists in the Clark County School District. It provides links to some great sites that students can use to practice all of the skills that they are learning in school...especially over track break!

This is my wonderful class on the first day of school. We had an assembly with Dr. Wyatt to discuss school rules..and then we got to work.

One of our first special dates to remember was Grandparents' Day! The students had to think of ways that their grandparents are special...and then draw a Grandparents' Day page for our class book.

This site was created by my husband as a way to showcase the students and their work. As you will see as you click around, it is also a great starting point for links to other sites, information about our school, and ways to contact me.

I hope you will enjoy the site, feel free to send the link to friends and family around the country so they can see what the kids are up to!

Enjoy!
